Glasto organiser hoping that the Gallaghers will play festival
Glastonbury chief Michael Eavis has himself raised the possibility of an Oasis reunion at Glastonbury.
Last month, Noel Gallagher had - in no uncertain terms - shot down the rumours, though did admit that he and brother Liam were back on good terms.
Now, though, with Beady Eye over, Eavis sees the perfect opportunity for a major coup.
"I do talk to Noel and Liam a lot," Eavis said. "Wouldn't it be marvellous for them to relaunch at Glastonbury now Liam has split from Beady Eye?"
He's also eyeing up another big name for the festival - the woman who's just become the first platinum selling artist this year, Taylor Swift. It's bad news, though, on the Fleetwood Mac front; having been bookies' favourites to headline when tickets went on sale, Eavis said it "isn't looking good".
