Morrissey signs record deal with Universal
Expect an new LP from the Mancunian icon this year.
After five years in the record label wilderness, all systems are go for a new Morrissey album. It has just been confirmed that the singer has signed a deal with Harvest Records, who come under the Universal umbrella, and there is an agreement in place for a release in the second half of 2014. It will be Moz' first solo album since 2009's Years Of Refusal, a title that turned out to be quite prescient indeed.
Recording has already commenced, and tour dates are set to follow.
