The CD includes nine previously unheard tracks.
A rare, unreleased album from the King of Pop will be up for auction later this month at the New York auction house, ‘Gotta Have Rock and Roll.’
The album includes three alternate mixes that were released in 2010 (‘Monster,’ ‘Breaking News,’ ‘Keep Your Head Up’) and also nine unheard songs, expected to be of master quality.
Bidding on the album will cost you a pretty penny though, with a starting bid of $50,000 that is expected to rise up to at least $1 million. The hefty price tag won’t include any rights to the music, so the album cannot be redistributed after.
The unreleased CD was found by a close family friend/personal assistant to Jackson who remains anonymous at this time. Other Jackson items to be sold at the auction include self-portraits, his very own teddy bear, and other MJ memorabilia.
