Mark Ronson & Air to headline Beatyard
August's Dun Laoghaire knees-up is starting to look seriously tasty...
A DJ-ing Mark Ronson and sexy French boys Air have been unveiled as the Saturday and Sunday night headliners at the Beatyard festival, which returns to Dun Laoghaire on August 5 and 6.
They join an impressive line-up that already includes the likes of Bananarama, Toots And The Maytals, Candi Staton, Larry Heard, Katie Kim, Horse Meat Disco and – we love typing this! – Choice Music Prize winners Rusangano Family.
Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel are returning to live duty after a five-year break while Mark Ronson will be riffling his way through a record box that includes everything from classic gospel, ‘60s funk and punk to jazz, hip hop and New Romantic.
