The line-up for the Marlay Park spectacular has been revealed - and some of the cream of international talent will be on their way to Dublin in July
Kendrick Lamar, The National and Major Lazer have been revealed as the headliners for this year's Longitude Festival.
The Marlay Park spectacular, taking place July 15-17, will include what's sure to be one of the most anticipated performances of the year, as the creator of perhaps last year's finest album, To Pimp A Butterfly, takes to the Irish festival stage on the Friday night. He heads an altogether impressive hip-hop offering for this year's renewal, with Tyler, The Creator, Action Bronson, and A$ap Ferg also in the first batch announced.
More of the best albums of last year are accounted for too, as Jamie XX and Father John Misty return to the capital.
Another of the star turns will be provided by The National, who headline the closing evening. No strangers to Irish shores, Matt Berninger and co. are joined at the head of the line-up by Diplo's mega-successful dance collective, Major Lazer, who'll make sure legs are sufficiently shaken on the Saturday.
Electro-poppers Chvrches and Australian sensation Courtney Barnett are also on the bill, as is homegrown hero Roisin Murphy. Others flying the Irish flag include All Tvvins, Pleasure Beach, Otherkin and Saint Sister.
Weekend tickets priced at €159.50, and day tickets at €64.50
are on sale from 9am next Friday.
