Le Galaxie, Mundy, Hudson Taylor & Kormac's Big Band head the bill.
Bandon Music Festival returns this year with a typically enticing array of Irish acts headlining the weekend of revelry in the rebel county.
Since being established in 1997, the Bandon Music Festival has grown organically into one of Ireland’s leading independent music events.
Saturday will see Mundy bring his brand of celebratory folk-rock to the stage. A festival veteran at this stage, the offalyman is sure to give the people what they want including his sing-along classics July, Mexico and his famous rendition of Galway Girl. Saturday's line-up also includes Dublin fraternal duo Hudson Taylor. There is no shortage of buzz surrounding these talented brothers so be sure to check them out before they blow-up.
Sunday promises a more electronically tinged affair courtesy of a headline set from Ireland's premier electro troupe Le Galaxie. With an eagerly awaited new album on the horizon the Dublin four-piece will surely wow with some new material as well as playing the hits. Kormac's Big Band will also be taking to the main stage on Sunday and when they say big band they aren't joking. With the The 11-piece live band featuring turntables, a barbershop quartet, drums, double bass, trombone, clarinet, trumpet and banjo the full Kormac experience is one that has to be seen to be believed.
