The album is released under King Krule's own name Archy Marshall.
Two years ago King Krule burst out of London with his combination of styles from punk to jazz and the swagger of a dissatisfied youth that knows exactly where to direct his anger.
Although quiet on the music front for the past two years, Archy Marshall joined forces with his brother to create an art exhibition in his hometown. Now the Londoner has returned with another genre defying work.
A New Place 2 Drown transcends one medium combining a book of poetry compiled by both Archy and his brother Jack who is a visual artist, an album by Marshall himself and also a short film that focuses on the relationship between the two brothers.

"Those mediums merging together was what we wanted to do", stated Marshall to NPR. "With the music at the exhibition, that's music that's never going to come out. It was like four hours worth of music. This is a homage almost to that, in a way, and the idea that we want to expand on this worldwide and we want to keep it going and get more people involved. We make stuff every day, so it's just a constant thing."
You can listen to the lads on the Benji B BBC Radio show last night speaking on their collaboration and also listen to an exclusive of the new record.
