The singer, who appears on this week's cover of Hot Press, has been forced by the pesky ash to reschedule the in-store event, which was due to take place tomorrow (Thursday)
Ritter will now appear at the music store on Wicklow Street on Monday April 26, at 8pm. All wristbands that had been distributed are still valid and will be given priority entry. More wristbands may be available on the night too.
The singer, who recently released his sixth album So Runs The World Away, tells Hot Press that he suffered from writer's block while working on this most recent release:
"I wanted to write and I wanted to play, but nothing, nothing felt right. … My old songs came ringing back, silly, bereft of love or intent. … The shadow hung and I held on, hated and hoped for a single verse of something, anything at all that I could love."
