The Brooklyn emmcee reacts to Lil B's 'I'm The Bada$$' track...
We've already had the battle of Angel Haze and Azealia Banks this year, and Chris Brown and Frank Ocean are still licking their wounds after a weekend spat over a studio car-parking space apparently. Now it's the turn of Joey Bada$$ and Lil'B.
Things had been heating up between the two B's, after Bada$$ had thrown a few lyrical punches in Lil'B's direction on his 1999 mixtape. Things came to a head though when Bada$$ quoted his late ProEra pal Capital STEEZ on Twitter with the lyrics, "They say hard work pays off, well tell the based God don't quit his day job." Based God obviously referring to Lil B's alias.
A war of words ensued via Twitter, and yesterday Lil'B responded with a track named "I'm the Bada$$" appearing, in turn prompting Bada$$ to counter-diss with his rebuttal 'Don't Quit Your Day Job' which borrows from Janet Jackson's 'That's The Way Love Goes'.
