Singer-songwriter will make his Jazz & Heritage Festival debut in April.
Hozier has been booked for New Orleans' biggest music event of the year, another entry in the breakout musician's impressive list of high profile dates.
The Co. Wicklow native singer-songwriter will represent Ireland at the 46th edition of the festival, which celebrates the culture and heritage of the Crescent City.
The music is hardly limited to the area, though. The UK is set to have a strong showing at this year's festival, with Hozier sharing the bill with veterans Elton John, the Who, and Steve Winwood, as well as fellow rising star Ed Sheeran.

The festival will also feature guitar legend Buddy Guy, New Orleans native Dr. John, renowned rock/ska band No Doubt, the new jazz duo of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, Chicago-based alt-rockers Wilco, and many more.
Jazz Fest will take place April 24-26 and April 30-May 3. To see the full lineup, click here.
