Apple Music has announced details of a doc about the behind-the-scenes making of the One Direction singer's eagerly anticipated first solo album, which premieres on the streaming service from 15 May.
Simply entitled 'Harry Styles: Behind The Album', the doc follows the 1D singer everywhere from Abbey Road to Jamaica as works on his upcoming solo album, which he admits was a "scary" experience.
In a trailer for the film, Styles says about his new album: “I kinda wanted to see if I could write something people liked without knowing everything about me. Anytime you’re doing anything different, it’s a bit scary.”
In a press release, it was announced last night: "Apple Music Presents: Behind the Album, a new film from production company Fulwell 73, chronicles Harry’s musical journey while creating his much anticipated debut solo album.
"The film features exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage shot in Jamaica, Los Angeles and London during the making of the album and is complemented by Harry and his band performing songs from it for the first time at the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London."

Harry Styles' debut solo album will be released on 12 May. Speaking ahead of his eagerly awaited debut album, Harry said: "It’s a bit weird, I feel like I’ve been hibernating in the studio for so long… it’s time to give birth."
The CEO of Columbia Records Rob Stringer said they're "very excited" about Styles' debut album. "Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic," he said recently.
Earlier this week, he officially released the video for his new single 'Sign of the Times', which was first aired last month. 'Sign of the Times' was produced by Jeff Bhasker and co-written by Styles, with additional production by Alex Salibian and Tyler Johnson. It was filmed in Scotland around Isle of Skye and is directed by notable French director/musician Yoann Lemoine.
Harry says the piano-driven ballad 'Sign of the Times' is "the song I'm most proud of writing".
Chatting on the BBC Radio1 Breakfast Show last month, Harry admitted that he was feeling "nervous but good" about airing his debut single for the first time. He added that it was a song that "my mum liked, which was handy".
There also appears to good news on the cards for One Direction fans, with Harry Styles recently expressing an interest in reforming the band at some stage down the road."I love the band, and would never rule out anything in the future. The band changed my life, gave me everything," Harry has revealed.
The band officially announced their hiatus back in 2015 when Zayn Mark left in March of that year. But Harry has now revealed that One Direction were even talking about parting ways an entire year before that.
"I didn’t want to exhaust our fan base. If you’re shortsighted, you can think, ‘Let’s just keep touring,’ but we all thought too much of the group than to let that happen. You realise you’re exhausted and you don’t want to drain people’s belief in you," said Harry about the hiatus in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
