Following the barnstorming first instalment – which saw performances from Hermitage Green, Trinity Ensemble, and special surprise guest Gavin James – there’s another night of music and collaboration in store at the Old Jameson Distillery.
The first instalment of Bow Street Sessions, brought to you by Jameson and Hot Press, saw some of the leading lights of Irish music provide a night to remember at the Old Jameson Distillery in Smithfield; now, the second chapter promises to raise the bar even higher.
The pre-Christmas shindig will see HamsandwicH and R.S.A.G. take to the stage at the celebrated distillery, a pair of acts celebrating a sterling 2015. The Kells quintet scored their first No. 1 album with 'Stories From The Surface' – and, we might add, their first Hot Press cover – and followed a roof-raising headliner at The Olympia Theatre with a triumphant Main Stage set at Electric Picnic. Meanwhile, Jeremy Hickey – the effervescent ball of energy that is R.S.A.G. – has been working fastidiously on his third full-length collection, breaking only to combine with everyone from Justice’s Xavier De Rosnay to Ireland’s own Jerry Fish to show why he’s one of the most in-demand stickmen in the business.
This very special evening, which is set to serve up some fascinating musical collaborations, takes place on Thursday December 3; expect a warm welcome, a thrilling bill of music and of course a perfect serve of Jameson's finest…after that, expect the unexpected!
