Californian rockers Green Day plan to exhibit a collection of art works inspired by the music on their recent album 21st Century Breakdown.
The exhibition will take place in London later in October.
The exhibition will run under the title 21st Century Breakdown - The Art Of Rock and will feature 21 pieces of original art work commissioned especially by the band. It coincides with the imminent visit to Britian of Green Day's current arena tour. On 19 October they play Glasgow's SECC, and the tour also includes two Irish concerts, the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on October 20, and The 02, Dublin on October 21.

The band’s lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong said: "We feel a strong connection to that type of creative expression. We think the fans coming out will love it." The art show includes works by several significant international artists such as Ron English, The London Police and C215.
