Elton John is giving us plenty of advance warning that he’s bringing his new Wonderful Crazy Night Tour to the SSE Arena, Belfast on December 2, 2016. Tickets go on sale on Monday December 14.
The album of the same name drops on February 5, and is apparently a rocky, upbeat affair.
While there’s no talk of retiring, Elton, who’s clocked up over 4,000 shows during his remarkable career, is planning to cut back on his live engagements for a while.
“The simple truth is I want to spend more time with my family, and I am only too aware of just how precious the time ahead is,” he explains. “My sons are growing up so quickly; their early years are just flying by and I want to be there with them. So these concerts will give me the chance to thank the fans who have been so faithful to me over these many decades.
“We cannot get to everyone but I am going to try to. Belfast has a special place in my heart, and that is why I have always returned to this wonderful city.”
