The equally fabulous Neon Indian have also joined the September 3 to 5 line-up.
The Electric Picnic has just added a load of new acts including the very wonderful Janelle Monáe who’s been getting journalists the length and breadth of the nation in a right old tizzy of late.
It’s totally understandable with her The ArchAndroid album a glorious amalgam of Grace Jones, David Bowie, Prince, Patti LaBelle and all the other good stuff!
Joining her on the Stradbally Hall bill are Mountain Man, Hurts, Delta Maid, Freelance Whales, Duke Special, Dennis Alcapone & The Dubcats, O Emperor, Joe Echo, Vengeance & The Panther Queen and Neon Indian.
Appearing on the Sunday, Brooklyn resident Neon Indian will be plugging his fabulous Psychic Chasms album, a lysergic drenched collection of electropop tunes due here on September 17. Although a one man band in the studio, the Artist Also Known As Alan Palomo performs live with a three-piece band.
