“He has had to pull out of this year’s festivities on advice from his medical team,” reads the official statement. “We would like to wish him a speedy recovery. BUT we do have have some surprises in store for you. HOLD TIGHT!”
We wish Giorgio, who was an absolute gent when we talked to him a couple of weeks back, a speedy recovery.
The happy news is that 1) The weatherman is predicting 20/18/20 degrees and lots of sunshine for the weekend and 2) All festival-goers will be getting a voucher for their own Electric Picnic 10th birthday cake!
