He's found huge success in 2014 with his second album x and now Ed Sheeran is preparing to release his third single from it. 'Thinking Out Loud' is out November 21. Sheeran says the song is the last he recorded for the album, and has described it as his attempt at "a sweet soul song that sums up how you feel about someone when you fall for them hard."
Sheeran fans can catch the man himself on TV this evening – he'll appear on The Late Late Show, which airs on RTE One from 9.30pm.
Of course, Sheeran is hitting Irish shores primarily for his four sold-out 3Arena shows, which also kick off this evening.
