Want to be at the live broadcast of his VH1 special in Whelan's, Dublin, on January 24?
Hot Press revealed last week that Ed Sheeran was Dublin-bound to film his edition of VH1 Storytelllers and now we have the full details.
Confirming how Whelan's has a big place in the flame-haired star's heart, he has chosen the Wexford St. venue for the January 24 event.
If you want to be one of the lucky 400 people who will be joining him, head here to apply.
The details:
There are two audience sittings (17.00 - Dress rehearsal and 22.00 - Live transmission (ends approx 1.30am). You can select the time yourself and a guest will be able to attend.
Ticket requests are open from now until Friday January 16. If you are successful, you will be contacted by 5pm on Tuesday 20.
You MUST be 18 or over to attend. Photo ID will be required from every winner and guest during the wristband exchange on January 23.
Requests will be served on a random basis.
Sheeran cites a Damien Rice gig he caught in Whelan's as particularly inspirational: "That night literally changed my life. The time he spent talking with me after the show made all the difference. It inspired me in a way that I only hope to do for someone else."
The Irish affection clearly goes both ways, with his second album X still sitting pretty at the summit of the Albums Chart.
