The pop stars are currently touring together on their Future Now Tour and have decided not to tour North Carolina whilst the contentious HB2 law remains in practice.
Lovato and Jonas join the rapidly growing list of musicians who are abstaining from touring in North Carolina because of the law that discriminates against members of the LGBT community.
They were due to play venues in Charlotte and Raleigh along their tour but yesterday, Lovato released a statement on their behalf that they would no longer stop in North Carolina.

The HB2 bill (which has been nicknamed 'the bathroom bill') was passed in March. Among many discriminatory issues, it dictates which bathrooms transgender people can use. Many artists were pinning their decision to play North Carolina depending on whether or not the HB2 law was passed. Now that it has been, Lovato and Jonas join the Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Ringo Starr in the #RepealHB2 movement.
