There's a single in November with the parent LP following in 2016 on his birthday
He may have retired from touring, but David Bowie is still very much a going studio concern.
After much speculation, Mr. B’s website has announced that, "It can now be confirmed that ‘Blackstar’ is the forthcoming single and album from David Bowie. Contrary to inaccurate reporting on the sound and content of the album, only the following can be confirmed: The single will be released on November 20th and is not part of David’s theatre piece ‘Lazarus’. The album will be released on David’s birthday, January 8th 2016.”
As far as we know it’s once again been musically directed by Gerry Leonard, the former Hinterland man who’s been part of the Bowie set-up since 2002’s Heathen album, and gave us this fascinating insight into how his boss works: [link]hotpress.com/archive/9632227.html[/link]
