The Starman's music has become a dance performance.
A ballet show inspired by the works of David Bowie is set to open in Detroit next week. Star Dust will be showing at the Detroit Music Hall Center from June 18 with 15 dancers from the company Complexion Contemporary performing a 35 minute routine.
A number of the late pop icon's songs will feature in the show including 'Lazarus', 'Life On Mars?' and 'Space Oddity'. Star Dust is intended to serve as a tribute to Bowie's music, personas and general life.
Dwight Rhoden of New York based Complexion Contemporary told Billboard, ""You won't see it verbatim, but you will see influences from many of those characters and the way he changed throughout his career. We're not going to dress up like Ziggy Stardust, but you'll get the vibe when we're into that part of his career".
