Winners of the 7th Annual IFTAs were announced on Saturday night, with Colin Farrell, Dervla Kirwan and Jim Seridan among those honoured.
The awards ceremony, held at Dublin's Burlington Hotel and featuring the cream of the Irish film and TV crop, saw gongs go to Colin Farrell (Best Actor in a Lead Role) and Dervla Kirwan (Best Actress in a Supporting Role) for their performances in Neil Jordan's Ondine.
Jim Sheridan took home the Best Director award for Brothers, and Brian Byrne won Best Original Score for Zonad.
Other winners on the night included Robert Walpole & Rebecca O'Flanagan's The Eclipse, which topped both the Best Film and Best Script categories. Aidan Quinn won Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his part in the film. Producer, director and writer John Boorman was presented with the Lifetime Acievement Award by none other than Brenda Gleeson, Jon Voight and Juliette Binoche.

And in the television categories, Nightly News With Vincent Browne won Best Factual Category, while TV3 News at 5.30 took the Best News Programme award. Reality show The Apprentice won Best Entertainment Programme.
