Christy plays the Liverpool Philharmonic on Saturday October 12, whilst Lenny Abrahamson's Adam And Paul is screened in FACT on Thursday October 17.
The 11th Liverpool Irish Festival – the UK's most successful Irish cultural happening – takes place from October 10 – 20 and its got a bill bursting with celtic promise.
One of the main events will be a performance from Lisdoonvarana legend Christy Moore, who takes to the Liverpool Philharmonic on Saturday October 12.
Also taking place is a screening of Lenny Abrahamson's first feature, Adam And Paul at Fact on Thursday October 17. The director will be taking a break from filming the forthcoming Frank to attend the screening and an after-show discussion.

Elsewhere, Pat Shortt brings his new one-man show to the Unity Theatre on Tuesday October 15 and Damien Dempsey makes his glorious return to the festival with a show in The Kazimier on 16 October.
