Watch: Bruce Springsteen Covers 'Purple Rain'
The Boss pays homage to the late Minnesotan singer
Bruce Springsteen has performed a cover of the classic Prince track 'Purple Rain'.
The New Jersey singer opened his show in Brooklyn, New York, with the iconic song.
Prince passed away on April 21, at his Paisley Park home aged 57. The Sherriff of Minnesota County, Jim Olson, has said: “We have no reason to believe at this point that this was a suicide. There was no sign of trauma at all.”
While suicide has been ruled out, the full results of the post mortem carried out on Friday won’t be known for several weeks.
