Far From The Madding Crowd follows Bathsheba Everdene in her relationships with three men. Courted by a sheep farmer, a Sergeant, and a wealthy bachelor, Bathsheba's story is one of both passion and hardship.

The film adaptation of Hardy's literary romance stars Carey Mulligan, Matthias Schoenaerts, Tom Sturridge and Michael Sheen.
