Velvet Revolver kick off 2005 with an early January visit to the Point Theatre
The Point Theatre becomes hard rock heaven on January 12 when Slash, Duff McKagan, Scott Weiland and the rest of the Velvet Revolver boys descend on Dublin.
Tickets for what promises to be a cranium-crunching affair go on sale on Saturday, October 30.
It'll be Slash's first visit to Ireland since he guested with Ronnie Wood one extremely boozy night in Vicar St. and then did the Lillie's Bordello thing afterwards with Ronnie, Julia Roberts, Marianne Faithful, Vinnie Jones, Ronan Keating and, er, Stuart Clark who pinned him into a corner and demanded to know what his favourite Faces riff is.

If you haven't already got Velvet Revolver's Contraband album, shame on you because it's almost but not quite as good as his alma mater, Guns N' Roses.
Other newly confirmed gigs include Groove Armada who are doing their superior dance thing in Olympia on December 17 and The Used who'll be frat rocking the Ambassador to within an inch of its life on, again, January 12. Busy night!
