Vampire Weekend plan webcast with Steve Buscemi

Vampire Weekend return with their third album Modern Vampires Of The City on May 14 and they're pulling out all the stops to celebrate.

That, unexpectedly, means getting Boardwalk Empire star Steve Buscemi on board. Buscemi, who is apparently related distantly to bassist Chris Baio, pitched up with the band over the weekend for an Easter parade and brief a capella rendition of new single 'Diane Young'. It doesn't end there, however. Buscemi will now direct a Youtube/Vevo webcast of the band performing live at the Roseland Ballroom, New York. You can catch that show on April 28 (we'll remind you around the time).
