U2 re-masters expected to top charts
Coldplay's Viva La Vida is likely to see the end of its current reign at the top of the Irish charts as U2 release re-mastered versions of their classic albums Boy, October and War.

Coldplay’s Viva La Vida (or Death & All His Friends) has enjoyed a long stint at No. 1, following its release on June 12.
But U2's new re-issues are expected to knock Coldplay off the top spot, with early indications suggesting the re-mastered versions of classic albums Boy, October and War are set to be the year's best selling albums.
As previously reported on hotpress.com, the re-masters, due out on July 21, will be available in three formats:
Standard format – a single CD with re-mastered audio from the original analogue tapes, and a 16 page booklet with new expanded linter notes, unseen photos and full lyrics.
Deluxe format – standard re-mastered CD, a bonus CD with b-sides, live tracks and rarities (see here for more), and a 32 page booklet with expanded liner notes as above, including material from The Edge.
Vinyl format – re-mastered album pressed on 180gm virgin vinyl, with restored packaging.
