U2 album recording 'going great'
Legendary producer and musician Daniel Lanois has revealed that big strides are being taken in the recording of U2's new album.
Daniel Lanois has been talking about his and Brian Eno’s involvement in the new U2 album, which he says is “going great.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the producer/artist reveals: “We’ve been invited as writers this time. I did three writing sessions with Eno and U2 — one in Fez, Morocco and two in France. We’re regrouping in November.”
He’s also thanked Bono and the chaps for letting him include footage from Morocco in his soon-to-be-released Here Is What Is documentary.
“They’re saying, ‘Lanois, you’re going to show us recording and we haven’t even put out a record yet, c’mon,’” he laughs. “I said, ‘Aw, please. We’re not going to give away anything and besides we’ve got twenty-five years together, throw me a biscuit.”
