Tupelo to play Whelan's
The rhythm and roots 5 piece have just added a Bank Holiday date at Whelan's to their string of upcoming summer gigs.
The Dublin band offer a refreshing blend of raw sounds using an eclectic mix of instruments including acoustic guitars, fiddles, saxophones, an upright bass, harmonicas and even a guitjo (that's not quite a guitar, not quite a banjo).
The Country Mix FM regulars play Whelan's on May 31 before hot-footing it down to Kilkenny for the city's Rhythm & Roots Festival, where they play 5 free gigs over the weekend.
