Returning to Cork this July, the music festival will has already revealed some of the live acts.
The Townlands Carnival festival is a three-day event taking place in on the Rusheen Farm Estate in Cork for the third summer this year, on July 21-23. It provides three days of live acts, spoken work events and music performances of all persuasions.
The festival features Irish creative acts mixed with eclectic international performers, ranging from Comedy to Hip-Hop, Reggae, Circus and much more.
The purpose-built village provides different forms of accommodation for those, who want to leave their camping gear at home. Visitors will be accommodated in American Indian Tipis, Mongolian Yurts or Bell Tents to guarantee a special experience.
The Green Village, which was created to support environmental sustainability, will feature different spoken word events such as talks or comedy, while for the smaller guests the Big Bubbles Kids area offers games and all kinds of entertainment.

With the Early Bird and Tier 1 tickets already sold out, now the Tier 2 three-day camping tickets go on sale. Day tickets are also available for €50. Festival goers will find point of sale operators including JC Murphys Bar (Macroom), Organico Cafe (Bantry), Toons Bridge Cafe (Toonsbridge), Shire Bar (Killarney), Spin Dizzy records(Georges Arcade, Dublin), Plugd Records (Cork) and Siopa Gan Ainm (Coal Quay Cork).
Rubber Bandits, Bushy One String, Stomptown Brass, Le Boom, Krafty Kuts, MC Dynamite, Slamboree, Soothsayers, Goulash Disko, Dj Red I, Swinging Travelers, Jack O Rourke, James Or, Cork Samba Band, Paddy Dennehy, Hvmmingbyrd, Shookrah, Sillk, Mama Kasbah, My Fellow Sponges, The Elation Band, Deadly Light Shades, Sister Hyde and the Pesky Magpies, Chalk Outlines, and Grand are just some of the acts that will perform on the Townlands Carnival, with more headliners to be announced.
