Therapy? reschedule Cork and Dublin dates
Drummer Neil Cooper has broken a finger.
Northern rockers Therapy? have announced that their Vicar St., Dublin and Cyprus Avenue, Cork dates planned for this weekend will be rescheduled, due to a very painful-sounding injury sustained by drummer Neil Cooper.
The boys say: "Folks, we are very sorry to inform you that the Dublin and Cork shows this weekend have had to be rescheduled.. long story short, Neil has had an accident and broken his finger (actually the knuckle on his snare hand middle finger) and after a visit to a specialist , he has been advised to take minimum 2 weeks recovery time (ie. no movement/lifting/playing) to give the finger the best chance of recovery."
You can't keep a good man down though, and the shows will go on - on May 10 (Dublin) and 11 (Cork). Tickets for the original shows are valid.
Neil: "So sorry everyone. I'm absolutely gutted about causing the Cork and Dublin shows to be re-arranged. We've been unbelievably excited about playing the first A Brief Crack Of Light shows and to have something like this happen now is a complete nightmare. I promise I'll be on the mend and we'll make the re-arranged dates in May extra special."
We wish him a speedy recovery! 'Til then, here's 'Living In The Shadow Of A Terrible Thing'.
