It’s “well done, sirs and madams!” to The Yips who’ve been confirmed as Dublin 98fm’s Brand New Act of 2012.
Up against fellow finalists My Tiny Telephone, Les Marionettes, Morgan La Faye and I’m Your Vinyl, the Dublin funk ‘n’ blues four-piece garnered 48% of the votes cast by listeners to 98’s Totally Irish show.
Their cache of prizes includes two-days recording time in the legendary Windmill Lane Studios, extensive 98FM airplay and the chance to perform alongside Paddy Casey this Thursday at the Totally Irish Live gig in The Workman’s Club.
