The Minutes play 'gigs in your gaff'
The Minutes vow to serenade the masses at home this summer with a new idea that will see them play fans living rooms.
The Minutes want to do a gig in your gaff. The Vodafone Bright New Sound winners have decided to take to the streets – and to your house – this summer and will be “bringing it back old skool” playing wherever they are wanted.
The group seem to have lowered their standards, saying they’ll gig at anything from house parties, to christenings, no occasion necessary, they’ll even turn up, just to help you pass the day. The band of Dubliners have promised “no age restrictions, no shit-head bouncers, just you dudes and us.”
And why, pray tell us, are they doing this? “For a change eh? Something different.”
Fans are starting to take them up on their offer and with a busy summer ahead for the The Minutes, they may live to regret this one.
For those of you who would rather see The Minutes in a proper venue, rather than your sitting room, they’ll be playing in Dublin soon, in Radio City on May 24 and The Village, June 7.
And if you want to hear them first, before you introduce them to your Ma, their debut single, 'Harmonic' is out now.
