The Dublin show comes in the midst of a seven-date irish tour this September
While The Mighty Stef are currently making their mark with a US tour, they havn't forgotten their homecountry, announcing a seven date Irish tour highlighted by a homecoming gig at the Sugar Club in Dublin.
The Sugar Club show will coincide with the release of The Year Of The Horse, the band's fourth album and first since 2010. Frontman Stefan Murphy describes the album as “trying to turn situations, feelings of desperation, into something that is colourful, acceptable and understandable to people. I’m the lyric writer, so I suppose it’s where I’m personally coming from, but I always try to keep the overall picture of what the group represents in my mind. We like to think, ultimately, that it has a very euphoric feel to it.”
Openers for the band will be Bufflo Sunn and Ghost Estates
