The Jimmy Cake Fund:it Album Details
The instrumental prog-rockers hope to make new album Popular Music, but they need your help...
The Jimmy Cake have just taken to Twitter to announced details of the Fund:it campaign, for the recording of their ambitious Popular Music album.
"It gives us insane pleasure to FINALLY go live with our Fundit campaign to get our new record 'Popular Music' out..."
Speaking on their :fund:it page the band said: "The album is 72 minutes spread across 3 tracks and 4 sides of vinyl. It’s an ambitious undertaking, but we’re very happy with the results of the recording, and are confident that you will be too. We’ve incorporated nearly every element of influence we’ve ever had. It’s all in there at some stage, from the heavy, doom infused Observatory Destroyer to the Krautrock inflected Space Champion."
You can donate to the campaign, and keep track of how they are progressing over the next couple of months on the :fund:it page here.
