The Go! Team confirm split at the Hot Press Chatroom

Front woman Ninja says their Rolling Blackouts album will be their last.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 05 Sep 2011

There was sad news for fans of Brighton dance-pop outfit The Go! Team yesterday, when production whiz Ian Parton and front woman Ninja (pictured) confirmed that the band will not be making another album together.

Fielding a question from the audience, Ninja told a packed Hot Press Chatroom that band members have decided to focus on other projects and that the Electric Picnic show would be their final Irish performance.

The band then proceeded to blow the roof off the Electric Arena with a phenomenal hour-long set. We'll miss their energetic live shows, but team Hot Press can't wait to see what Parton, Ninja and Co. do next!

You'll be able to watch the full interview on hotpress.com in the coming days.
