New album from Stars of Heaven and the Revenants man Stephen Ryan.
The much-lauded solo debut from Jamie xx, In Colour, is displaced from its position at the summit of the Irish Indie Chart this week, and it's a homegrown act doing the shoving.
Beloved and tremendously talented songwriter Stephen Ryan, late of Stars of Heaven and the Revenants, is the driving force behind The Drays and their first outing, Look Away Down Collins Avenue is at No. 1. He's joined by Conor Brady, Eileen Gogan and Paul Byrne, with the band making their live bow next Friday, June 26 at the Memorial Concert for George Byrne taking place in Whelan's, Dublin.
Doors are at 8pm, tickets are €20 quid and proceeds go to a local Liberties charity.
With Mr. xx down to No. 2, Leftfield's Alternative Light Source also drops a spot into third.
SOAK's brilliant Before We Forgot How To Dream holds steady at No. 4. Villagers' Darling Arithmetic (also excellent) rounds off the Top 5 once again.
