The Dixons announce reunion show
Music fans of a certain age will be delighted to hear that The Dixons are doing the resurrection shuffle on September 24 in Whelan’s, Dublin.
From 1987 to 1991, the Dublin-based four-piece were allied to U2’s Mother Records before going the DIY route with the fabulous ‘Ingrid Bergman’, which got to number 8 on the Irish singles chart and suggested that international success was within their grasp.
Sadly, it didn’t happen with the Niall Toner Jr-lead combo imploding whilst recording their third Exile On Dame Street album.
