The Coronas to play Trinity Ball
Marina & The Diamonds has been forced to pull out of the event.
Dublin act The Coronas will perform at tomorrow night's Trinity Ball. The news comes as Welsh singer Marina & The Diamonds is forced to pull out of the event due to a worsening throat condition.
“So sorry, Trinity Ball,” Ms. Diamandis tweets. “My ENT doctor said I need 5 more days voice rest. Will come back to Dublin soon, I promise.”
This Coronas' performance follows their recent announcement of a headline show at The O2 this December. The Terenure four-piece sold out their Marlay Park show last year, and broke records with their six-night run at the Olympia Theatre last Christmas.
Friendly Fires, Professor Green, Erol Alkan, Cashier No. 9 and The Kanyu Tree are all set to perform at the Ball tomorrow night.
