The Clash line up live CD, DVD and biography
The Electric Picnic-bound Mick Jones has his youth revisited on October 3 when The Clash’s 1982 set supporting The Who in Shea Stadium is given a CD release.
A new biography, The Clash By The Clash, hits the shelves at the same time.
Also out in early October is The Clash Live – Revolution Rock DVD, which features 1977 to 1983 concert and studio performances of ‘Complete Control’, ‘I Fought The Law’, ‘Police & Thieves’, ‘What’s My Name’, ‘Capitol Radio One’, ‘White Riot’, ‘I’m So Bored With The USA’, ‘London’s Burning’, ‘1977’, ‘(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais’, ‘Tommy Gun’, ‘Safe European Home’, ‘London Calling’, ‘Clampdown’, ‘The Guns Of Brixton’, ‘Train In Vain’, ‘This Is Radio Clash’, ‘The Magnificent Seven’, ‘Brand New Cadillac’, ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’ and ‘Know Your Rights’.
Sadly, none of them are from The Clash’s legendary ‘70s visit to Trinity College Dublin which – unless you know better! – was never recorded for posterity.
