Fronted by the legendary Jock McDonald, The Bollock Brothers will play at the Grand Social in Dublin this Saturday, June 24.
It's been two years since the British punk act last played in Ireland.
Formed by the Donegal-born London DJ Jock McDonald in 1979, The Bollock Brothers are best known for their English cover of Serge Gainsbourg's French tune 'Harley David (Son of a Bitch)' and 'God save the Queen', featuring Michael Fagin on the vocals. Known for his troubled history and anomalous musical collaborations, McDonald has been deemed one of the most creative and peculiar Irish artists of the past 40 years.
The Bollock Brothers on stage by Dublin-based band Clashjamwallop this Saturday, and the show will feature special guests which will include local fiddle and banjo players, as well as a yet-to-be-announced guest vocalist.
