The Automatic and The Klaxons are to headline the NME tour, which this year is divided into two genres: indie rock and the ludicrously monikered 'indie rave'.
The Automatic, who shot to fame in 2006 with Not Accepted Anywhere which includes hits like 'Monster' and hp.com favourite 'Recover', will be playing at the Ulster Hall, Belfast on 29 January and the Ambassador, Dublin the next day.
In support will be the up'n'coming bands The View, The Horrors and Mumm-Ra.
Following closely behind are the 'ravers': The Klaxons, CSS, New Young Pony Club and the Sunshine Underground - who incidentally are bringing their Rapture-sounding styles to Limerick tonight, when they play the Trinity Rooms as part of the Heineken Green Sphere event.
The indie rave tour takes place at the Ambassador, Dublin on 3 February 2007 and Mandela Hall, Belfast the day after.
