While I appeared to be alone in denouncing Weller’s last album Wake Up The Nation (I couldn’t have defended lines like ‘Get your face off of Facebook’ if I’d tried), there’s no denying the catchiness of new single ‘That Dangerous Age’. The Modfather’s voice is hardly in terrific nick but in stepping out of his comfort zone and pouring on a few fuzzy effects, he’s come up with a perfect addition to the Weller pastiche.
