Two Door Cinema Club and Azealia Banks have just been added to the Scottish festival line-up...
Irish indie heroes Two Door Cinema Club and American rap/hip-hop sensation Azealia Banks will be joining an already impressive line-up of international talent at the 2013 festival in Kinross.
T in the Park is celebrating its 20th year this year, with acts like Mumford & Sons, Rihanna, The Killers, The Script, Two Door Cinema Club, Alt-J, Paloma Faith, Jake Bugg, Of Monsters and Men already announced.
The addition of Harlem upstart Banks to the bill will be of particular interest to Irish fans left disappointed by her Electric Picnic cancellation last year. For many years, the bill for T In The Park has been a powerful indicator of the likely Oxegen line-up, and vice versa, with acts doubling up between the two festivals.
While no announcement has been made yet, Hot Press understands that promoters MCD have been gearing up for an imminent confirmation of the return of the Oxegen festival, most likely as a two-day event. Whether this will be in its traditional slot, on the same weekend in July as T In The Park, remains to be seen however.

Festival Director Geoff Ellis said: “Two Door Cinema Club are one of the freshest, most exciting new acts around, and have had a phenomenal past year. One of the hottest new acts on the planet, Azealia Banks is a stunning live performer – I saw her at Coachella this year, then again in Glasgow and both times her set was incredible. We’re really delighted to be bringing both acts to Kinross this July.”
A limited amount of early bird tickets, available at 1993 prices went on sale this morning, but have already sold-out. If you didn't manage to bag one then you'll have to wait until the new year when tickets go on general release.
