Last night Taylor Swift brought her first of two Dublin shows from her 1989 tour to Dublin and failed to disappoint.
Opening with the lines “Hello Dublin! My name is Taylor and if there is one thing you should know about me it’s that I was born in 1989!” the audience consisting of mainly teenage girls and their mother's, danced and sang their way through wonderful hits, including 'Blank Space' and 'I Knew You Were Trouble' while the former country star paid homage to her roots in a soulful rendition of 'Love Story'
Welcoming her audience with broadway style tune, 'Welcome to New York', Taylor commanded the stage dressed in everything from a white leotard to a metallic skirt and ankle boots. The reaction to the show on Twitter was immense, with many concert goers claiming to have experienced the "best night" of their lives. The feel-good 'Shake It Off' rounded off the two-hour set as the 3Arena was cascaded in a blizzard of confetti and killer dance routines.

Set to play another first-class gig tonight in Dublin, fans should be on the look-out for Taylor's entourage who provide lucky fans with 'Lost 89' tickets which allow them to share pizza and cookies with the global superstar back-stage.
