Gary Lightbody and Jonny Quinn to appear at the City of Culture 2013 opening gig...
Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody and drummer Jonny Quinn will play an acoustic set this Sunday, January 20, for Sons & Daughters – the opening concert for the Derry-Londonderry City of Culture 2013.
The concert will be held at The Venue, the new purpose-built pavilion at Ebrington, and will feature ‘sons and daughters’ from stage and screen – local artistes with international reputations who will reflect on the city’s cultural achievements through music and spoken word.
Gary and Jonny join Nadine Coyle, Phil Coulter, The Undertones, Paul Brady, Damian McGinty, Gerard McChrystal, Amanda Burton, Dana, The Priests, Eva Birthistle, James Nesbitt, Codetta, Neil Hannon and others for the gala evening in the city this Sunday.

All complimentary tickets for the concert, which were issued through a random draw, have been allocated.
BBC will be broadcasting live on the night on BBC Radio Ulster, presented by Marie-Louise Muir, from 7.30pm.
