You read it here on Wednesday, now it’s official – Snow Patrol are one of the headline attractions at this year’s Oxegen festival.

Also joining Kings Of Leon on the ‘officially confirmed list’ are Bloc Party, The Script and making her Irish debut, Katy Perry [right].
Yet to be confirmed by MCD, but definitely Punchestown-bound between July 10 and 12 are The Killers.
Oxegen 2009, which is promoted by MCD, takes place on 10th - 12th July at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas.
