Snoop Dogg and P Diddy announce double header

Two stars - nay, legends - of hip-hop share their pimped-up tour bus when they play Ireland in the spring.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 07 Dec 2006

Snogg Dogg and Puff Daddy... P Diddy... Sean Combs... whatever, have announced they're to play Dublin's Point Theatre on 31 March.

Both have been busy since autumn, with Snoop releasing The Blue Carpet Treatment, and P Diddy unleashing Press Play, his newie which features contributions from Christina Aguilera, Keyshia Cole, Nas, Will.i.am (from the Black Eyed Peas), Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Big Boi (from Outkast) and Brandy.

The date relies on Mr Dogg not being locked away before then - he's due in court on December 12 for being a felon in possession of a gun and transportation of marijuana, and again in January for possession of a deadly weapon, which can send him away for up to three years.

However, if his escaping-jail fortunes are similar to Pete Doherty's, expect some monster tunes, plenty of bling, and perhaps an expletive or two.

Tickets are €65 and go on sale from December 14.
