Smashing Pumpkins get reissue treatment
Gish and Siamese Dream will be fully remastered...

Reissues (and reunions) are all the rage these days, with many classic albums getting a fresh coat of paint and redelivered to the masses. Recent years have seen reissues from the likes of U2, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails to name but a few. Adding their name to the list are influential US alt-rockers Smashing Pumpkins.
The first of what Pumpkins fans hope will be many to get the remaster and reissue treatment are the first two albums in their discography, 1991's Gish and its follow-up; 1993's breakthrough smash Siamese Dream. Both albums come packed full of bonus content and special features that were curated from the band’s archives by founding member Billy Corgan and have been painstakingly remastered for the first time from the original master tapes by top engineer Bob Ludwig.
The news comes hot on the heels of Billy Corgan's announcement that he has started his own pro-wrestling company, Resistance Pro. The full list of mouthwatering contents reads thus:
